The Crews Banking organization is seeking a Trust Officer for our Trust/Wealth Management division to work in the Sarasota and Venice, Florida market. This individual is responsible for the fiduciary duties when the bank acts as trustee, representative of an estate, guardian of assets, or an agent. Serves as the primary contact for Trust clients; creates and manages financial plans for clients; and works with clients to meet their financial goals as part of a team approach.

Oversee the administration of customer relationship activities following financial institution policies and state laws. Includes:
Ensure trust documents are carried out in accordance with the Grantors intent. - Ensures that trust accounts comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a contact plan for client meetings, including scheduling client meetings.
- Resolution of any client issues/request with goals to maintain high service standards
- Serve as a primary point of contact for or back up contact for existing and new clients.
- May assist client’s with managing their financial resources as required including bill paying, asset titling, asset liquidation, insurance coverage and insurance claims.
- Works with legal representation to administer estates and the probate process.
- Works one on one with clients to develop and manage short term and long-term financial plans
- Serve as part of the team presenting services to prospects or centers of influences.
- Develop new and additional business from existing clients.
- Provide documents review services including counseling individual on estate and tax planning.
- May provide assistance to clients in the selection of care facilities and care providers.
- Prepare new account open documents and updates existing client documents as required.
- Support the bank branch staff in responding to questions on various estate planning documents.
Involvement in local community events to enhance Trust and Wealth Management visibility and reputation.
Maintain a reasonable knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policies and regulatory requirements that are specific to the department.
Minimum Skills and Background:

The Business Relationship Banker is responsible for generating and maintaining customer relationships while proactively promoting the bank’s services offered to assist the business client in the management of their business. Works closely with team partners in Lending, Investment, Trust & Wealth Management to cross sell additional services and be the primary financial resource for the customer. Effectively builds relationships with customers and prospects in the community to generate leads for new opportunities. - Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Summary:
The Personal Banker is responsible for providing a full range of banking services for the branch’s retail customers. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the bank’s retail accounts and services for both consumer and business customers. Makes recommendations about additional services beneficial to customer and refers to other lines of business when applicable. Skilled at problem resolution and customer inquiry while providing a friendly, professional and caring attitude in communication with others. Also serves in the role of Teller Specialist and responsible for duties on the teller line in assisting business and consumer customers with transactions, processing payments and cash balancing. Follows bank's policies and procedures and is knowledgeable in SARs, CTRs, Delayed Funds Availability forms, check fraud, and other BSA guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years of teller, personal banking and/or other banking experience
- Strong understanding of the bank's products and services
- Excellent interpersonal, sales and communication skills
- Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, flexible and team-oriented work environment
- Ability to accurately count and handle cash, and manage multiple tasks at once
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience using JHA Silverlake platform, a plus
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service
