Executive Team
Jake Crews
Chief Executive Officer
J.W. "Jake" Crews, IV is part of the fourth generation of family leadership for Crews Bank & Trust, which has been providing local financial services to our communities for more than 90 years. He serves as CEO and Chairman of the Bank.
After earning a finance degree from Washington State University, he served as a bank examiner in Florida in the early 2000s, during the Great Recession. In 2010, Jake became the fourth-generation family member to join the Bank's management team. At 32 years old, he was one of the youngest bank presidents in Florida.
Jake continues to build upon his family's heritage through his passion for technology and dedication to customer relationships.
M.W. "Larry" McLaren IV
Chief Banking Officer
Born and raised in Venice, Fla., Larry earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance at the University of South Florida. After graduating in 2002, he began his banking career with the Bank as a credit analyst and junior lending officer. He left the bank in 2004 to expand his commercial lending experience throughout the Suncoast area. In 2010, he graduated from the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
Larry returned to the Bank in 2011 as a Senior Lending Officer. He was promoted to president of Englewood Bank & Trust, one of Crews Bank & Trust's legacy banks, and later served as Chief Credit Officer before being named Chief Banking Officer in 2023.
Andrew Tate
Chief Experience Officer
Andrew “Andy” has been working in the banking industry since 2004, starting as a part-time teller right after high school. Since then, he has gained experience in various areas of banking, such as customer service, bookkeeping, data processing, and management information systems.
A graduate of the University of South Florida, Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in history, as well as several financial professional certifications, including Accredited ACH Professional and Graduate School of Banking.
Andy is proud to be a lifelong Floridian, born in Orange Park and living in Wauchula since 2003. He is passionate about serving his community and giving back to the people who have supported him throughout his career. Andy is involved in several local organizations, such as coaching little league baseball, being a member of the Wauchula Lions Club, chairing the Hardee County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and participating in the Economic Vitality Committee for Main Street Wauchula.
When not working or volunteering, he enjoys traveling, learning new things, and spending quality time with his family and friends. Andy is married and has two children who “keep him on his toes.” He loves exploring new places, cultures, and cuisines with his family.

Mark Crews
Chief Information Officer
Mark, a third-generation member of the Bank’s family leadership team, serves as Chief Information Officer. Literally growing up in the bank, he has worked in a myriad of positions ranging from teller to lender to bank president.
He graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in finance, attended the Florida School of Banking and LSU School of Banking.
Mark grew up in Wauchula and now resides in Sarasota with his lovely wife, Julie. Together, they have four children. In his spare time, he loves to cook (and eat what he cooks), travel, read and learn new things. He is also involved with his youngest son’s flag football team and has been known to sing in the choir at his church “from time to time.”
Brad Wilson
Chief Financial Officer
Although Brad was born in Bluefield, WV, his family moved to Bradenton before his first birthday, so he considers himself a native Floridian. He currently lives in Punta Gorda.
Brad’s journey into the working world started at the age of ten, when he began working part-time in the family business, where he continued for the next fifteen years. In 1975, he entered banking as a part-time courier and never left. Over the years, he gained experience in various roles, starting as a teller and spending a decade in the savings and loan Industry before making a move to a commercial bank in 1985. There he transitioned from being a commercial lender to the role of bank cashier. In 1990, he joined our Bank as the Bank’s Cashier and has held many positions, most notably serving as Executive Vice President and President of two of our legacy banks before assuming his current role as Chief Financial Officer and Investment Officer.
His educational background includes graduating from Southeast High School in Bradenton and pursuing further studies at the Graduate School of Banking of the South in Baton Rouge, LA.
Brad and his wife have been happily married for more than 45 years and have three sons, who have blessed Brad and his wife with seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In his spare time, Brad enjoys wood working, golf and spending time with his growing family. He is also actively involved in his church.
Misty Hughes
Chief HR Officer
Misty joined the Bank in 1993 as a personal banker. She quickly moved up the ranks, being promoted to loan specialist, assistant to the president, and marketing director. In 2012, she was named Vice President/Human Resources director and then in 2021, moved into her current role of Chief Human Resources Officer for Crews Bank & Trust.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business and attended the FBA Florida School of Banking from 2000-2002. She holds a SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resource Management.
Misty is a board member for Advent Health Foundation (formerly Florida Hospital) in Wauchula. She is an avid reader and enjoys traveling with her family.
Eric DeYoung
Chief Credit Officer
Eric is a proud native of Southwest Florida, having lived here for almost 40 years. He currently resides in Port Charlotte with his husband Trey, who works for Charlotte County Public Schools, and their son and daughter.
Throughout his education and career, Eric has shown his passion for banking and finance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Florida, where he graduated cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University. He also completed the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Wharton Leadership Certificate. In addition, he is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a prestigious designation in the commercial real estate industry.
Eric joined the Bank as a credit analyst in 2006, and in 2008 became a commercial loan officer. Promoted to Vice President of Commercial Lending in 2011, he served in that role until 2020, when he was once again promoted as the Director of Loan Operations. He also taught as an Adjunct Faculty at Edison State College (now known as Florida SouthWestern State College) from 2011 to 2017.
He participates in various community and professional organizations. He is an instructor for Florida Realtors, the treasurer of the Kiwanis Foundation of Charlotte County, a past board president and leadership team member of TEAM Punta Gorda, a member of the Sunrise Kiwanis Club, the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce, the Charlotte Desoto Building Industry Association, and the PGPCNP Association of REALTORS Commercial Group. He is also a graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class of 2009.
When not working or volunteering, Eric enjoys running, yoga, and plant-based eating. He loves to travel and explore, especially with his family. His favorite destinations include Japan, where he did an internship and study abroad program in 2005, and to the western U.S. where he and his family recently visited the national parks.
Daniel Irby
Chief Risk Officer
Daniel joined the Bank in September 2014 as Vice President, Risk Management Officer. His background includes eight years with another financial institution in Florida as CFO (6 years) and Risk Management Officer (2 years). He later served as partner/manager for a CPA organization.
He completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Jacksonville University where he played collegiate football and obtained an MBA in finance from Colorado Tech University.
Over the last several years, Daniel has been successfully leading the efforts in Credit Risk to improve the bank’s overall risk profile through liquidations of non-performing assets and effective management of problem loan assets. Daniel and his skilled team have successfully established an appraisal and evaluation management process that serves all the Bank's lenders.

Craig DeYoung
Area President, SW Florida
Heavily involved in the banking industry in Charlotte County since graduating from Charlotte High School in 1980, Craig DeYoung joined the Bank as a commercial real estate lender in 1994. He successfully advanced to Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer before becoming president of Charlotte State Bank & Trust, one of Crews Bank & Trust's legacy banks in 2006.
During his tenure as president, Craig oversaw much expansion of the bank: the opening of a full-service branch in North Port in 2017, in addition to opening a satellite office at South Port Square in Port Charlotte in 2016 and loan-production offices in Lee and Collier counties in 2015 and 2016, respectively. He also supervised numerous advances in products and services designed to make banking more convenient and rewarding to customers, including a home-based, locally staffed Trust and Wealth division.

Kevin Casey
Area President, Sarasota County
With over three decades of banking experience, Kevin is familiar with all aspects of commercial lending, specializing in owner-occupied and investor real estate lending. Prior to joining the Bank in 2015, he served as Senior Vice President or Vice President at three other Sarasota area financial institutions, concentrating on commercial banking and wealth management.
Kevin, who earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at the University of New Haven in Connecticut, was with Crews Banking Corporation less than a year when he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Banker. He provides his clients, ranging from small business owners to real estate investors, with expert consultation, tailoring a financing program suited to needs.
Kevin also shares his knowledge and expertise with the community. He chairs the Economic Development, Government Issues and Transportation Committee of the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, and he is affiliated with the Venice and Englewood Area Board of Realtors. In addition, he serves on the United Way of South Sarasota County’s Allocation Committee and is also involved with the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce as a mentor of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy.

Justin Fussell
Area President, DeSoto and Hardee Counties
A seventh-generation Arcadian, Justin earned an associate of arts degree from Santa Fe College in Gainesville. He then attended the University of Florida, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Science in agricultural education and communication with a specialization in communications and leadership development, and minors in management, sales of agribusiness, and leadership. While at UF, he was inducted into Alpha Tau Alpha, a nationally recognized professional honorary agricultural education organization. He has worked in commercial lending, financial management and marketing.
A graduate of Leadership DeSoto, Justin is a DeSoto County Chamber of Commerce board member, serving on the Membership, Annual Meeting and Leadership DeSoto Committees. He is also a member of the Inaugural Randy Bateman Memorial Fund Fundraiser Committee, which raises funds to provide scholarship opportunities for students seeking a career in the power generation industry. In addition, he actively supports local 4H and FFA students with their beef projects, volunteers at Arcadia Rodeo events and serves on the Rodeo advertising committee. He is a member of Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding around to check on his families’ cows and hay fields, traveling and spending time on both the salt and freshwater of Southwest Florida.

Joe Cataldo
Area President, Englewood Area
Joe graduated from Venice High School and later pursued an associate degree in business management from Manatee Community College, now named State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. Joe’s banking career includes experience in residential and commercial lending and branch management. Directly before joining the Bank, he worked to build relationships as a Commercial Banker with another financial institution in the Venice area.
A Charlotte County resident, Joe is involved in the community as a member of the Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Club and the Englewood YMCA community board, as well as the Finance and Audit Committee for the Charlotte Community Foundation. Joe also dedicates time serving on the board of Englewood Area Youth Baseball (EAYB), an organization that supports local youth to grow in both sportsmanship and baseball skills.
When not at the bank, Joe spends time with his three children and wife of over 15 years exploring the natural beauty of Florida while golfing, boating, fishing, and hunting.

Rob Roberts
Area President, Highlands County
After a 10-year career as a US Army Officer and Cobra & Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot, Rob joined the Bank in May of 1996. He continued to serve as a reserve army officer until his honorable discharge in 2018.
Rob has extensive experience in commercial lending. He was the Executive Vice President and Senior Loan Officer for Wauchula State Bank, the first of Crews Bank & Trust legacy banks. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Ridle Aeronautical University. He also attended the Harvard Business School course on management and the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida.
Born in Highlands County and raised in Wauchula, Rob and his wife, Donna, are long-time residents of Highlands County. He has served in several nonprofit organizations over the years.

Andrew Foreman
Area President, Polk County
Andrew, a native Floridian who was born and raised in Hardee County, joined the Bank in 2013. He graduated from South Florida State College with a bachelor’s degree in business and the Florida Bankers Association School of Banking while serving as class vice president. Andrew is currently an active member of the Central Florida Development Council and the Lakeland TigerTown Rotary Club. Andrew’s focus is on helping his customers grow their business and partnering with them on their commercial needs.
When he's not working, he loves spending time with his wife, son, and other family. He enjoys outdoor activities, including fishing and being out on the water.

Jamey Dodson
Senior Vice President, Residential Lending Director
NMLS #442937 Jamey has served as Crews Bank & Trust’s Residential Lending Director since 2020. A lifelong resident of Manatee County, he started his career in the Bradenton and Sarasota market more than 30 years ago. He has held roles at both community and regional banks in business and mortgage lending, loan operations, and sales. In 2018, Jamey joined the Bank as a lending officer.
Jamey is a graduate of Manatee Community College and obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in Finance. He actively serves the community and holds board positions for several non-profit organizations.
Terese Duelge
Vice President, Residential Lender
Terese brings over 30 years of banking experience, many of those years spent originating new mortgage loans for customers.
She joined our hometown bank in 2015 as a Vice President and Retail Lender, after working as Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for a community bank in Wisconsin for 25 years. She is a licensed realtor, has studied real estate law to enhance her knowledge of the industry, and has hosted workshops and Continuing Education classes for local real estate brokers and sales agents.
Terese is familiar with the Conventional, FHA, & VA mortgage loan products that are available for the purchase or construction of residential homes and condominiums. She has helped thousands of clients originate mortgages to buy their dream homes, vacation homes, and investment properties. Terese is proficient in assisting clients in need of refinancing existing liens as well.
In 2017 and 2019 Terese received the Venice Area Board of Realtors Affiliate Honor Award for her continued dedication as a member of the board’s Scholarship Committee. Terese has chaired Cora’s Giving Fund, a charity that supports pediatric cancer research, since 2016. She also volunteers for a variety of other local charitable organizations.

Holly Selders
Vice President, Residential Lender
Prior to joining the Bank in 2014, Holly served in executive positions at lending institutions in Virginia and Michigan, gaining experience as a Marketing Manager, Office Manager/Processor, Vice President, Mortgage Loan Auditor, Operations Manager and Senior Vice President. She understands the intricacies of loan origination, pricing, loan calculation, contracts and closing documents.
While serving as Senior Vice President and Operations Manager of Secondary Marketing for a Virginia-based home funding firm, she supervised oversight of contracts, all aspects of licensing, and federal and state reporting requirements, among myriad other duties.
She is based at the Bank's Punta Gorda office and is a winner of the Charlotte Sun newspaper Readers’ Choice Award as Best Mortgage Officer. She has served as Treasurer of C.A.R.E. Auxiliary and is a longtime member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and a Tidewell Hospice House volunteer.

Julie Whitmire
Assistant Vice President, Residential Lender
Julie is a lifelong resident of Lake Placid who started her banking career with the Bank in 1989. She relishes her role as a Residential Lender in her community because she “loves helping make dreams come true and being part of life’s most important decisions.”
Julie is a graduate of Leadership Highlands. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Eduardo Maldonado
Assistant Vice President, Residential Lender
Eduardo was born and raised in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, and is fluent in English and Spanish. He started his career in banking in 1993 before moving to Florida in 1997. Eduardo joined the Bank in 2005. He can assist all customers with their consumer, residential or commercial borrowing needs.
He has served on civic and nonprofit boards, his positions including Commissioner of the Avon Park Housing Authority and Secretary of the Lake Placid Noon Rotary Club. He loves helping his customers through the process of buying or building their dream home.

Andrew Calderon
Residential Lender
Andrew joined the Bank as a Residential Lender. Born in New York and raised in Connecticut, Andrew received a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Central Connecticut State University in 2017. He joins the Bank with five years of experience at another financial institution. In his new position, Andrew will assist customers in the Polk County community with every step of the loan process.
Loans that Andrew can assist with include:

- FHA loans with flexible guidelines and down payment requirements.
- VA loans exclusively for veterans and military personnel.
- Refinance loans for home improvement projects and/or debt consolidation that can package high-interest debts like credit cards and medical bills into a single loan with a lower interest rate.
- Construction-to-permanent mortgage loans with a single closing.
In his spare time, he enjoys visiting the local theme parks and sharing his love of soccer with his son.

Danielle Johnson
Residential Loan Originator
Danielle is involved in producing a variety of residential loans as well as generating and managing a portfolio of customer relationships for the DeSoto market area.
Born in Naples and raised in DeSoto County, Danielle is a Florida native. She holds an associate of arts degree in business management from Edison Community College (now known as Florida SouthWestern State College) and has over 50 certifications through the American Bankers Association.
Danielle has worked with the bank for over 25 years and has held many positions, including data supervisor, human resources manager, executive assistant and lead teller.
Outside of the bank, she supports the DeSoto county community through activities such as 5k runs and DeSoto County Pioneer Days.
Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband, Tim, and children while camping, fishing, traveling, and working with their cattle.

Kris is a Residential Loan Originator. Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, Kris has been a full-time resident of Florida since April 2020, currently residing in Punta Gorda.
Kris was recognized as the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association (CDBIA) Associate Member of the Year 2022, she serves as Chair of the CDBIA Professional Women in Building (PWB), an organization dedicated to supporting education, professional development, and networking opportunities to help members acquire and develop leadership and business management skills to boost career success. She is also an Ex-Officio member of the CDBIA Board of Directors and is active in the Charlotte County Chamber, serving as a director.
In her spare time, Kris enjoys golfing and participating in community events with friends. She is based at the Murdock branch, located at 1100 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte.

Originally from Hatboro, Pennsylvania, Karen is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC with a degree in business. She has lived in the Charlotte County area since 2001 and is heavily involved in the community. She brings over 40 years of experience to her role with the Bank.
She is a recipient of the Humanitarian of the Year and the President’s Award from the Englewood on the Gulf Women’s Council of Realtors. Additionally, she received Affiliate Member of the Year and Community Service Member of the Year from the Englewood Area Board of Realtors (EABOR).
In addition to being involved in EABOR and the Women's Council of Realtors, Karen participates in the Charlotte DeSoto Building Industry Association (CDBIA) and serves on the board of The Boys & Girls Club of Charlotte County and Kids Needs of Greater Englewood. She is a past president of both the Rotary Club of Englewood and the Englewood Florida Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, she spends time with her husband, Alfred, while kayaking, shelling, gardening and completing crossword puzzles.

Ken Strosnider

Ken is based at the North Port branch, 4300 Aidan Lane, and has 20 years of mortgage origination experience.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ken moved to Florida six years ago and resides in Rotonda West. He graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in finance. Before joining Crews, he worked with multiple financial institutions focusing on residential lending.
His community involvement includes volunteering with the Englewood Lions Club, which works to strengthen communities and support those in need through humanitarian services.
Strosnider and his wife of 35 years, Gail, have three adult children living in various states across the US. In their free time, they enjoy spending time at the beach and on the golf course.

Todd Rinehart, CCIM
Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker
One of Southwest Florida’s leading business bankers, Todd joined the Bank in March of 2019. He has experience in all aspects of the banking industry, earning a reputation for providing exceptional service to his clients.
Todd started his banking career in 1978 while still in high school in Cape Coral, working part time as a high school cooperative education student while attending school full time. He has a thorough working knowledge of lending fundamentals, credit analysis, interest rate risk, and financial regulatory management and reporting.
A graduate of the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida in Gainesville and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Todd also earned a bachelor’s degree in business management at Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla. In 2024, Todd was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute. The CCIM title signifies expertise in the commercial real estate profession.
Todd is the past president and current treasure/secretary for the Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association and serves on the board of the Southwest District of the Florida CCIM Chapter, the premier organization for commercial investment real estate professionals. He is also a past chairman of the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce.

Doug Johnson
Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker

Doug joined the Bank as Vice President of Commercial Lending for Sarasota and Manatee counties in 2018. He brought with him 21 years of commercial banking experience, including 18 years in commercial real estate lending. He had served as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer and business banking manager at banks in the Sarasota-Bradenton area.
His familiarity with the Sarasota-Bradenton area enables him to provide financial and lending solutions designed to help clients grow their businesses, real estate portfolios and personal net worth.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979 while majoring in psychology at the University of Florida. He received his MBA (Master of Business Administration), with concentrations in finance and marketing, from the University of South Florida in 1989. USF awarded him a graduate business fellowship.
Doug completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2008, as well as Risk Management Association (RMA) courses in business tax returns and commercial loan structuring. He is an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Alliance of the Realtor Association of Sarasota/Manatee, Gulf Coast Builders Exchange and Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. A Leadership Manatee graduate, he served on the boards of Junior Leadership Manatee (chairman in 2003) and All Faiths Food Bank. He also has volunteered with the American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America and the Center for Education School Parents Association.

James Coalwell
Vice President, Commercial Banker
James began his banking career in 1994 while still in high school. After accumulating more than two decades of experience in lending and finance, James joined the Bank in October of 2020. He filled similar positions locally and in his native Minnesota.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and an associate degree in management at Minnesota State University in 2001. Prior to moving to Florida in 2006, he spent time at a pair of firms in Minnesota, serving as a senior home equity representative, senior retail credit analyst, and lead underwriter.
In Florida, James held leadership positions as a Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer, and Vice President of Commercial Lending prior to joining the Bank. A graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class in 2009, James' education also includes graduating with honors from the Florida School of Banking in Gainesville in 2011 and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2014, the same year he completed the Farr Leadership Institute.

Robin Carr
Vice President, Commercial Banker
When Robin joined the Bank in November of 2019, he brought with him more than 30 years of banking experience, including proficiencies in lending, underwriting and loan management. Robin grew up in Orlando and has lived in Central Florida for 15 years. He has a strong understanding of the business community and is committed to providing business owners the service they deserve.
Robin graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) degree in finance and has been involved with various Central Florida Chambers of Commerce. He has a son who is a physician's assistant and lieutenant in the Florida National Guard and a daughter who is an ICU nurse.

Ashley DeLuca
Vice President, Commercial Banker

Ashley started her career with the Bank in 2004 and has been in lending for more than 10 years. She was promoted to Vice President in 2022. As both a commercial and residential loan officer, Ashley helps oversee the lending process with her customers, instilling a strong understanding and confidence they carry from application to closing.
An active volunteer and founding member of Commercial Real Estate Women of Sarasota Manatee (CREW Sarasota/Manatee), Ashley serves as a board member, treasurer for the executive committee. She is also a board member of the DeSoto County Chamber of Commerce and the DeSoto County Education Foundation. Nick has been involved in banking for more than a decade, serving as a commercial banker in Charlotte, Collier, Lee, and Sarasota counties. He also has experience in branch management, underwriting and credit management, and portfolio management.
He attended Edison Community College (now Florida SouthWestern State College) and has held Florida state licenses in life and health insurance, variable annuities, and securities Series 6 and 63. He also completed his first year of the Florida School of Banking curriculum and participated in Omega Performance’s commercial lending training.

A Pittsburgh area native, Len moved to Florida in 1985 and spent time at a trio of Sarasota County banks before joining the Bank as Vice President of Commercial Lending in 2013. In 2017, he expanded his role to our Venice office.
A Venice resident for decades, Len specializes in commercial real estate and small business loans via conventional and Small Business Administration (SBA) structuring. He has extensive knowledge in servicing the following sectors: medical, manufacturing, multi family, retail and office by providing long-term commercial real estate solutions and equipment lending.
Len earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at Troy University in Alabama, completed the Florida Banking Association’s School of Banking at the University of Florida, and is in the process of obtaining the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.
Len graduated from the Leadership Englewood program, presented by the Englewood Florida Chamber of Commerce, with the class of 2016, and the Leadership Venice program, presented by the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, class of 2019.

John Laurent

John has been an integral part of gaining new business customers and expanding services to our existing customers since joining the bank in January 2017. He became a commercial banker in October of 2019 and continues to serve the Polk County market, working along with the Winter Haven and Lakeland teams to support the growth goals for the region.
A sixth-generation Floridian born in Lakeland, John attended Bartow Senior High School and earned a Business Administration Degree in finance from the University of South Florida. Cristin Madden, CCIM

Cristin was already a familiar figure in banking and commercial lending in Collier and Lee counties when she joined the Bank in 2016. She began her career as a credit analyst at a bank in Bonita Springs in 2000, was promoted to credit manager a year later, and became a vice president and Commercial Lender in 2004, which is the same position she currently holds here at Crews Bank & Trust.
At her first bank, Cristin grew an existing loan portfolio from $50 million to $130 million in a little over four years. Throughout her banking career, she has also served as a sales and service officer, portfolio manager and business banking relationship manager at banks in Collier and Lee counties.
Cristin earned a bachelor’s degree in public health at the University of Massachusetts and an MBA in finance at Florida Gulf Coast University. An underwriting specialist in commercial real estate and other fields, she has completed a variety of courses offered by the Risk Management Association (RMA) and Lorman Educational Services (LORMAN) pertaining to loan documentation, accounting, and construction law. In 2024, Cristin was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute. The CCIM title signifies expertise in the commercial real estate profession.
Cristin is an active member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), and CCIM SWFL chapter. She is a member of NABOR (Naples Area Board of Realtors) serving on the NABOR commercial committee and was the 2023 Chairperson. Cristin is also an active member of the Bonita Springs Downtown Alliance. Cristin graduated from the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Leadership Collier program in 2016. She has served as a board member, board Vice President, and board Treasurer for the Bonita Springs Lions Eye Clinic. Born in Avon Park and raised in Winter Haven, Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a minor in psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, where he was a dean’s list student. He and his family have lived in Lakeland since 1990. Matt has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry in Polk County, serving as a commercial banker, business banker, and portfolio manager.
Matt and his wife of more than 34 years have two adult sons. He is a former council member for the Give Well Foundation, served 16 years on the Community Investment Team for United Way of Central Florida, was a booster for Harrison Performing Arts School guitar department and a volunteer for youth baseball. Ben started his career in the Navy as a cryptologist with Naval Intelligence during the Afghan and Iraq Wars. He held a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance and served aboard two amphibious assault ships (USS Ponce and Nashville), a Destroyer (USS Cole), and a Los Angeles-class submarine (USS Annapolis).
After the Navy, Ben served as Operations Manager for a boat manufacturing plant while getting his MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Western Governors University. He entered banking in 2008 and served as a Senior Credit Analyst with the Bank from 2014 to 2021, specializing in multiple industries, including investment real estate, agriculture, and owner-operated businesses across Central Florida. He transitioned to a Commercial Banker in 2021 and is passionate about meeting his customers’ commercial needs.
In his spare time, he is an avid painter, astronomer, and family man with his wife and three children.

Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, Nate moved to Fort Myers in 2012. Brad Rhoden

Brad joined the Bank as Vice President and Commercial Banker in August 2022. Brad has a connection to the central Florida area having spent twenty-five years in the financial industry there, with two decades focusing on commercial real estate lending. Brad works to support customers in their business decisions with a keen focus on growth and profit.
A sixth generation Floridian, Brad earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and human resource management from Florida Southern College followed by consumer lending training. He began his finance career in 1996, obtaining five financial planning licenses and later completed his curriculum at Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking in 2013. Throughout his career, Brad has gained experience in business and employee development, loan underwriting, and government regulations.
Brad is also an active member in the Polk County community, having participated in the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, the Boys and Girls Club Committee, and most notably as a mentor to two teenage boys at Florida Baptist Children’s home.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Stephanie and her family now call the Lakewood Ranch area home.

Justin joined the Crews Bank & Trust team in 2024, bringing with him nearly a decade of experience to his new role. A Florida native originally from the Okeechobee area, he began his career in the engineering field but later made the switch to lending. Justin holds an associate of science degree in Drafting & Design Technology and a bachelor's degree in Technical Management. In 2018, he graduated from the Florida School of Banking.

He also served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps where he developed leadership and discipline that continue to influence his professional success.

Gloria and her husband, Luben, have two sons, whom she describes as their “biggest accomplishments.” In her free time, Gloria enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.

Kris Bilodeau was born in New Hampshire, moved to Florida 1979 and currently lives in North Venice. Jackson joined Crews Bank & Trust as a Credit Analyst in 2021, advancing to Trust Relationship Associate in 2022 and in 2024 he was promoted to Trust Officer.
A native of Longwood, Florida, Jackson graduated from Florida State University with dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and real estate. He expanded his expertise by completing Levels 1 and 2 of the American Bankers Association Wealth & Trust School, is MoneyGuide Pro certified, and is currently pursuing his Certified Financial Planner designation.
Jackson offers educational seminars at the Bank and is on the Charlotte Estate Planning Council. He also participates in Coastal Conservation and volunteers at Charlotte High School.

Clara, a fifth-generation Hardee County resident, has been a member of our Bank family since April of 2013. She joined the bank shortly after graduating from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree. She minored in biology at FSC and was selected to Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and Beta Beta Beta-Biology Honor Society.

Elizabeth joined the Crews Bank & Trust Family in 2003, starting as a teller, then steadily climbing the ladder to her current position of Retail & Business Banking Director, Senior Vice President. She is responsible for setting the retail operational strategy to support the growth and service for the bank’s retail business line.
Originally from West Hartford, Conn., Elizabeth served as a customer service representative in that state for American Airlines, the Hartford Courant newspaper and other companies prior to moving to Florida in 2001.
Elizabeth went from teller to head teller in four months. She became a personal banker in 2004 and moved into bookkeeping a year later. She spent time as a bookkeeping specialist and supervisor for eight years before entering retail operations and becoming a vice president and branch administration manager. She was promoted to her current position in 2023.

A familiar figure in financial and community circles in Southwest Florida, Christine joined Crews Bank & Trust in 2019 as a vice president and relationship manager heading up the bank’s Sarasota office. She then served as senior vice president of retail banking before being promoted to her current position. Christine began her banking career in 1998. She has experience in retail banking, treasury management and residential lending. As a sales manager and loan officer, she has used her skills to guide, manage and influence successful sales operations, identify and mitigate risk, empower management teams, manage strategic visions, deliver product enhancement and build strong client relationships in both the corporate and community banking environments. In her current position, Christine oversees the introduction of Treasury Cash Management and other related commercial banking services to businesses.
Christine immersed herself in the business and nonprofit communities. She has been involved with Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota County since 2002, serving as board chair, vice chair, treasurer and secretary. She is also a founding board member secretary of the Sarasota Athletic Association, a nonprofit focused on creating and managing athletic events to raise funds for local charities, and she spent two years on the board of the Ave Maria School for Special Needs Children.

Michelle joined the Crews Bank & Trust family in January 1990. She filled a variety of roles, learning from each position and advancing to management positions. She started out as a teller, then began opening new customer accounts in 1995. Two years later, she moved into the bookkeeping department, concluding her three-year stint there as head bookkeeper. She was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Retail Operations in 2005 and within four years was made a full Vice President. Today, Michelle serves as the Regional Retail Administrator for the northern region of the Crews Banking Family.
An integral part of the DeSoto County area for over 30 years, Michelle has volunteered with Arcadia Main Street, Arcadia Kiwanis Club, Arcadia Centennial Lions Club, and the DeSoto County Historical Society.

She completed the Dynamics of Supervision Series I and II classes at the Florida Gulf Coast University Office of Continuing Education in Punta Gorda. Originally from St. Petersburg, Fla., Sara spent much of her youth in Texas, where she graduated from White Oak High School and attended Kilgore College for two years. Jennifer Flores is a seasoned Retail Banking Officer with a commitment to the Hardee County community. Proudly residing in Wauchula, she has been an integral part of the Bank for many years, serving in diverse roles such as teller, teller supervisor, personal banker, and branch operations manager. Prior to joining our Bank, Jennifer worked as a teller supervisor at another financial institution for three years.
Her journey in the banking industry began after graduating high school in 1995, followed by further education and completion of the Principles of Banking. In 2020, Jennifer earned the prestigious Universal Banking certification from the Florida Banking Association, enhancing her abilities to provide tailored financial solutions.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Jennifer is actively engaged in the community as a member of both the Ft. Meade Chamber and the Hardee County Chamber. Family holds a special place in her heart – she is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Noey. Together, they are blessed with two wonderful daughters and a son, and two beautiful grandbabies.
In her spare time, Jennifer loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Lindsey Foster

Originally from Alaska, Lindsey began her banking career after high school at a community bank. She continued working in banking part-time and during summer breaks while studying marketing and communication at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Washington State University. She later became a full-time teller and personal banker before spending time working in insurance, budget management, contract management and as an event coordinator. Lindsey joined our Bank as a personal banker in 2021 at the Boca Grande location. In this position, she provided a full range of banking services to customers while maintaining a friendly, professional and caring attitude. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys the Florida sunshine by fishing, boating, golfing and lounging by the pool or at the beach. Lindsey and her husband have three well-loved cats.

Melissa is the Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, of the North and East Arcadia locations. Her responsibilities include creating a focused business plan for future growth and success in the Arcadia area.
Melissa, who has over 26 years of experience in all areas of banking with Crews Bank & Trust, worked her way through the ranks, starting as a bookkeeper and moving on to customer service, both roles including supervisory aspects. She was born in Virginia and moved to Arcadia as a child, where she graduated from DeSoto High School. She works closely with Link2Success, and often gives tours of the bank and speaks to local schools about banking.
When not at work or volunteering, her life is all about her family. She and her husband, Mike, love spending time with their two children, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. She also enjoys riding their motorcycle, camping, and baking.

Karla Huaman

Karla Huaman was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer of Crews Bank & Trust in 2024. She oversees both the Winter Haven and Lakeland branches, managing the day-to-day operations and creating a focused business plan for future growth and success in the Polk County area.
Karla was born in Peru and grew up in New York. She moved to Florida in 2018. She began working with the Bank in 2021 as a personal banker, bringing over 20 years of experience in the banking industry with her. At her previous financial institution, Karla served as a branch operations manager.
When not at work or volunteering, Karla enjoys spending time with her three children and visiting family around the globe including destinations such as Japan, Canada and Spain. She also dedicates some of her free time giving back to her community by participating in local food drives and distributing food to those in need.

Kim Maddy

Kim has 16 years of banking experience, most of that time spent within Crews Bank’s legacy banks, where she last served as a branch manager. Prior to her banking career, Kim was a flight attendant.
She is a member of the North Port Area, Charlotte County, and Punta Gorda Chambers of Commerce, and has been an active participant in the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce Action Committee and a Chamber Ambassador.
Kim’s community contributions have been recognized through her appointment as Ambassador of the Year for the Charlotte County Chamber and the United Way of Charlotte County. She is also a member of Women United, an affiliate of the United Way whose members fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community.
Kim has completed the Florida Bankers Association Supervisor Academy and Florida Gulf Coast University’s Dynamics of Supervision I and II classes.
Originally from Indiana, she moved to Florida in 1997 and currently resides in Port Charlotte. She was married to her late husband, Troy, for 36 years and they had 2 sons together. Kim spends her spare time serving in her church and creating fun times with her sons and daughter-in-law.

Charlene Dorio

Originally from San Diego, Charlene moved to Englewood in 1999 and began her banking career upon her arrival. Throughout her time at the bank, she has held many positions, most recently as retail branch support, working on special projects and training. She also served as a branch manager.
Charlene studied at Grossmont College and holds a Branch Manager Certificate from the Florida Bankers Association. Additionally, she is an active member in the community and has dedicated time to many local causes and organizations including the Suncoast Humane Society, Rotary, and Leadership Englewood, a program of the Englewood Chamber of Commerce.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, spending time with her three grandchildren and being out on the water either boating or paddle boarding.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Vladimir has been a Florida resident since 1991. Being fluent in English and Spanish enables him to communicate with a diverse array of customers.
Vladimir, who resides in Lakeland, began his banking career in 2000. He holds a Certificate in Banking Operations from Miami Lakes Education Center and has experience in sales, bank operations, management and customer service. He joined the Bank in March 2022.
Married for over 25 years, Vladimir and his wife have three children. When not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and dancing.

After moving to Arcadia in the spring of 2022 from California, Amber joined Crews Bank & Trust as a personal banker. A quick learner, she began helping with Consumer Loans/HELOCs and training new staff members. Her natural leadership abilities led her to her current position as a Business Relationship Banker.
Amber graduated from Trident University International with a degree in business administration. She is a licensed Florida loan officer certified through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS #2449769) and Notary Public.
Prior to joining the Bank, Amber worked with a medical facility for a decade where she assisted with the day-to-day success of the organization and opened new clinics where needed. She also held an important role in assisting those who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of California.
Outside of the bank, Amber has a passion for helping those in need through activities such as food drives, toy drives and supporting the needs of the homeless population.
Amber and her long-term partner, Bryan, have two children and enjoy spending time together by playing video games and enjoying the local amusement parks and beaches.

Stephanie Cole

Originally from Indiana, Stephanie relocated to Florida in 2017 before briefly residing in Georgia in 2022. Returning to Florida in March 2024, she now calls Port Charlotte home.
Prior to her tenure in the banking sector, she owned a business in Indiana from 2003 to 2017, later transitioning to a retail store management position upon her relocation to Florida. Stephanie embarked on her banking career in 2018 as a universal banker at another financial institution. Most recently, she held the position of Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager in Savannah, Ga., before returning to Florida to join Crews Bank & Trust.
Outside of her professional life, Stephanie loves to spend time with her family and has been married to her best friend for 25 years. She affectionately refers to her five dachshunds - Beatrice, Harvard, Charlie, Sally, and Franklin - as her children. In her leisure time, she enjoys boating, fishing, and traveling.
