Crews Bank & Trust Collecting School Supplies to Help “Stuff the Bus”

Lakeland, Fla., July 23, 2024 - Crews Bank & Trust is among local businesses joining the Lakeland Kiwanis Club in their annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign which partners with local schools to ensure students have what they need to start the school year off strong.

“As a local, community bank, we are excited to be involved in this year’s collection” said Janesza Hagans, Crews Bank & Trust Loan Portfolio Specialist. “We will also be partnering with Stroll Eaglebrooke at their Back-to-School Bash on August 3 to collect even more supplies for this great program.”

New school supplies will be accepted at the Downtown Lakeland Crews Bank & Trust location, 221 E Main Street, during banking hours. The branch is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The school supply collection is scheduled to end on Monday, August 5.

For 21 years, “Stuff the Bus” has provided needed school supplies to students and teachers made possible through the generosity of the Lakeland community. Supplies are delivered to 28 schools throughout the local area. Items needed include pencils, pens, scissors, glue, folders, crayons, binders, paper, markers and backpacks.

The Back-to-School Bash hosted by Stroll Eaglebrooke is a free event open to the community. It will be held on August 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the community club house, 1300 Eaglebrooke Blvd. School supply donations are strongly encouraged.
