Crews Bank & Trust Continues to Serve Arcadia and Sarasota

Arcadia, Fla., Feb. 10, 2023 – Jake Crews, Chief Executive Officer of Crews Bank & Trust, has announced that the bank's North Arcadia branch at 400 North Brevard Avenue will be rebuilt and open to serve customers in the fall of 2023.

"Our Main Office of Crews Bank & Trust sustained significant flood damage from Hurricane Ian. While we apologize for the inconvenience of the office being closed, we want to ensure the safety of our customers, employees and community," explained Crews. "We will be taking this opportunity to enhance this location to better serve DeSoto County residents. In fall 2023, customers will be welcomed back by the same familiar faces that have served them. We remain Arcadia’s hometown bank and look forward to continuing to serve our customers with world class service with a personal touch.”

Crews Bank & Trust has been a part of the Arcadia community for generations. This year, the organization will celebrate its 50th anniversary at that exact address. The bank's other branches, Arcadia East and Downtown Sarasota, reopened within days of the Category 4 storm.

Following the hurricane, staff from the Arcadia North location began working at the Arcadia East location, 2747 SE Highway 70.

“We’re still here, just a bit down the road,” shared Justin Fussell, DeSoto County Market President. “We feel incredibly lucky to have multiple locations in Arcadia. That gives us the opportunity to continue serving our community while also addressing storm damages at our 400 North Brevard Avenue location.”

The Crews Bank & Trust Arcadia East lobby is open Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. and its Drive-Thru hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.- noon. The Downtown Sarasota branch is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
