Karla Huaman Promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer

Polk County, Fla., August 19, 2024 – Karla Huaman was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer of Crews Bank & Trust. She will oversee both the Winter Haven and Lakeland branches. In this position, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the branches. Her other responsibilities will be creating a focused business plan for future growth and success in the Polk County area.

From Peru, but growing up in New York, Huaman has called Florida home since 2018. She began working with Crews Bank & Trust in 2021 as a personal banker bringing over 20 years of experience in the industry with her. At her previous financial institution, she served as a branch operations manager.

“In my many years in banking, I have not learned as much as I have in the three years with Crews Bank & Trust. I appreciate that the company's values align with my own beliefs. When not at work, Huaman’s life is all about her family. She enjoys spending time with her three children and visiting family around the globe including destinations such as Japan, Canada and Spain. She also spends time in the community by participating in local food drives and distributing food to those in need.
